Very good list. The never wearing of flip-flops probably goes along with the "neat-freak" gene. However, no flip-flops eventually equates to stinky feet and worse still, fungi. And what's worse than fungi? Not much. This perspective will help you embrace the flip flop as I have embraces the flip flop.
Congrats on surviving stake conf. Tell your dad that you inherited his "natural essence" and that you're never stinky with or without flip-flops :) Let us know if you make the team! I'm sending good thoughts your way.
that is funny about the bus driver. why no flip flops? good luck on making the team. I'm sure you'll be happy either way. (I think you'll make the team though)
